Loss - Abatement (Uncommon)

Category: Blood Fysa

Abatement is a part of the Loss Aspect of the Blood Fysa.

This is an active fysa. Users can take a portion of another's pain to share it and make it easier to endure. It is up to the user to decide how much pain to take-- from 20-80% of it.

Loss - Inheritance (Rare)

Category: Blood Fysa

Inheritance is a part of the Loss Aspect of the Blood Fysa.

This is an active fysa. Users can take another person's injuries onto their own body, healing the other in the process. The user must still heal their injuries, either manually or magically, afterwards. These stolen injuries will also still be painful. As this transferrance is magical, it also transfers any infection, debris, or impurities. It can also be used to take disease.

If you are not a ptheran, this ability also costs a dark blood in addition to other learning costs.

Balance - Growth (Common)

Category: Blood Fysa

Growth is a part of the Balance Aspect of the Blood Fysa.  All ptheran start with this fysa.

This is an active fysa. Users can shape-shift to grow and un-grow certain body parts:

For ptheran, this means their wings, their claws, and their bone spurs, if they have any. For their wings, their secondary forearms transform into large wings for flight. There is no pain associated with this transformation and the process consumes magical energy.

This transformation comes very naturally. An anxious or on-edge ptheran may display partially transformed wings/claws/spurs as an involuntary flight-or-fight response but, like holding one’s breath, any ptheran is capable of controlling their transformations with acute awareness.

Gain - Regenerate (Uncommon)

Category: Blood Fysa

Regenerate is a part of the Gain Aspect of the Blood Fysa.

This is an active fysa. Over time, users can encourage the regrowth of lost limbs and membranes. This helps when their wings or tail are torn or cut. The healing of these parts still requires energy and food, and speeding a regeneration without enough resources will cause the user to lose weight. They can kill themselves from malnutrition if they overdo it or rush it.

The older a wound, the more it resists healing. Magic returns bodies to what their 'normal' should be, and the body accepts old scars as normal after a time, including conditions from birth.

Loss - Universal Donor (Common)

Category: Blood Fysa

Universal Donor is a part of the Loss Aspect of the Blood Fysa.

This is an active fysa. Users can alter their blood to be universal to all creatures of Orrison. Normally, this requires being slightly familiar with the physiology of the creature receiving the blood.

Gain - Healing (Rare)

Category: Blood Fysa

Healing is a part of the Gain Aspect of the Blood Fysa.

This is an active fysa. Healing other creatures takes great practice and care. A user must become extremely familiar with their physiology and body, and have a lot of exposure to the other species.

A user can encourage another's body to mend itself using magical energy and its own resources (fat & muscle), but again pushing a body past its limits will spend flesh to grow flesh, and the person being healed can die of malnutrition.

Multiplicity (Common)

Species: Daemon

They can grow and un-grow extra copies of their own body parts such as eyes, tails, limbs, ears, or even heads.

Gain - Adapt (Common)

Category: Blood Fysa

Adapt is a part of the Gain Aspect of the Blood Fysa.

This is an active fysa. A user can temporarily become more hardy to disease, the elements, and general minor damage. Their body is less likely to take to bruising or spraining.

Balance - Attune (Rare)

Category: Blood Fysa

Attune is a part of the Balance Aspect of the Blood Fysa.

This is an active fysa. Users match the rhythms of their body with another's to stabilize an unstable individual, whether it's the user or another person. This can be used to lessen the effects of anxiety, fear, or stress, to relieve insomnia, or to bring one down to resting heart rate after exertion. One can even use it to stabilize breathing, slow bleeding, and help someone close to critical condition.

Balance - Color Shift (Uncommon)

Category: Blood Fysa

Color Shift is a part of the Balance Aspect of the Blood Fysa.

This is an active fysa. Users can temporarily change the pigment of their eyes or skin. This doesn't work on fur, feathers, or hair as these features are grown.
